About Overland Park French Drains

We're a drainage outfit working in Overland Park and nearby Johnson County. Water in yards is the whole job — not a sideline between mowing routes.

What we actually do

French drains, yard drainage, and landscape drainage for homeowners in Overland Park. Standing water, soggy lawns, water sitting against a foundation edge, beds and retaining walls that stay saturated. Exterior water management — that's the specialty and that's the limit of it.

What we don't do is worth stating too. We're not plumbers, so sewer lines and interior drain clogs aren't our work. We're not a basement waterproofing company, so interior drain tile and wall systems aren't either. If that's what your problem turns out to be, we'll tell you and point you toward the right trade instead of selling you a trench.

How we work

We look before we quote
No prices over the phone. Drainage cost is driven by length, depth, and where the water can discharge, and none of those can be assessed from a description. The visit is free and there's no obligation attached to it.
We recommend the cheaper fix when it'll work
Extending downspouts or correcting grade in one spot solves a real share of wet yards. Those jobs are smaller than a French drain, and we'd rather have the referral than the bigger invoice.
We build it to keep working
Filter fabric, washed stone, and an outlet that's genuinely lower than the drain. The systems that fail early skip one of those three, and skipping them is how a bid gets cheap.
We leave the yard clean
Spoil on tarps rather than your lawn, surface restored over the line, outlet marked so nobody hits it later.
We answer the phone
Mon–Sat, 8am–6pm — a real person, not a dispatch queue.

Why only Overland Park?

Because drainage is local in a way most trades aren't. The soil decides how the job goes, and Johnson County clay behaves a specific way — slow to absorb, quick to hold water, heavy to dig. Knowing what the ground does before we open it is worth more than covering a wider map.

It also means short drives, so coming out to look at a yard for free isn't a favor we have to ration.
